Wodnik Hotel Wroclaw hotel

The Wodnik is one of the smaller and cozier hotels in Wroclaw. Peace and quiet are the characteristics we'll appreciate both inside the hotel and in its immediate vicinity. A definite plus is a close proximity of the Odra River and the possibility of going on a boat cruise (the hotel has its own wharf) or of organizing any type of an outdoor event. It is also a good chance to take walks and to get acquainted with Wroclaw's green side. The Wodnik's immediate vicinity features such attractions as Ostrów Tumski (the oldest, historic district of Wroclaw) and Poland's largest ZOO.

As far as the rooms are concerned, the emphasis is more on quality than quantity. The rooms are convincing in their cozy simplicity. The apartments are particularly pleasant.

The very centre of the city is several tram stops away.

Rooms

Sometimes, three-star hotels are problematic. Whether we'll get well-maintained, modern rooms or ones only pretending to be that way is quite often a lottery. When it comes to the Wodnik, we definitely don't have to worry, because it is one of those hotels that like to shine and offer more than we expect. From among its 17 rooms, we can select singles, doubles, quadruples and apartments. 60 EUR for a double room is a decent price and taking into account the basic but charming room décor and its cleanliness, we may be hard pressed to find similar offer. The apartments are very cozy - in addition to more space and nicer furniture, we'll be able to enjoy a mini-bar.

All rooms are equipped with bathrooms, TV, telephone and radio. In each we can use a permanent internet connection free of charge.

One of the apartments is adapted to the needs of handicapped guests.

Restaurant

The hotel restaurant's menu features quite a few typical Polish dishes as well as some international cuisine. The average price of a dinner is 25-30 PLN.

On warm days, it is the most pleasant to dine on a terrace, with a view of the nearby Odra River, enjoying the unique ambience of Wroclaw, which many call "Venice of the North".
If we decide to organize a larger event at the Wodnik, we'll have the chance to enjoy a special banquet room. Its interior is styled a bit like a banquet cellar, with long tables, heavy chairs and decorative lanterns. On one of the walls there's a magnificent mural depicting a view of Ostrow Tumski.

The chef gladly cooks outside, so there's a chance to try a piglet freshly roasted over a bonfire, a delicious grilled pork neck and other delicacies (preferably with a large mug of beer).

Conference rooms

The Wodnik" is a small, cozy hotel, perfect for a not-too-large conference. We can use 2 air-conditioned conference rooms equipped with foil projector, screen, flipchart and erasable board. The large conference room is able to seat up to 80 people and is equipped with an additional sound system and permanent internet connection. The smaller room is more suitable for a group of 30-40 persons.
In the restaurant, we can order a lunch and snacks, as well as beverages for coffee breaks.

Additional Services

The Wodnik can take full advantage of its unique location - cruise ships depart from the hotel's wharf (a great chance to see Wroclaw from a different perspective), outdoor events, bonfires and company meetings take place on the river bank.

There's a car park next to the hotel. We don't have to pay extra for it.

Room rate also includes the use of sauna and billiards room.

Pets are welcome here. The fee for their stay at the hotel is only 10 PLN for a day.
