Polonia Hotel, Wroclaw

Three stars for sure for the location of the hotel - 10 minutes from the main square, and the main train station on the same street.
When the priority is money, the Polonia will not disappoint you. A double room can be had for 50 euro's. For this you get a large, clean room with bathroom, TV and telephone, giving you an average standard of rather 2 stars than 3. The hotel restaurant serves Polish and Galician dishes.
The whole hotel, the interior, the equipment and the atmosphere reminds of the eighties.
The receptionists speak English and German.

Rooms

Polonia has over 150 rooms, single, double, triple and quads, of which some have been renovated. Two thoughts spring to mind, one is 'the cheapest in town', second one ' back in time'. Their standard is 2 stars, so suitable for those that want to spend their money on exploring Wroclaw. A great asset is the size of the rooms. With ease you can find space for all your luggage here. Some rooms have been renovated, so they are slightly more expensive but you get a fresher room, and especially bathroom in return. Rooms are sober and clean, all have television and telephone as well as bathroom with shower. And if you are not interested in television or internet you can get a cheaper priced room. Please ask for a room away from the street, as the street in front of the hotel is busy, and the rooms have no air conditioning.
The hotel and its rooms are not prepared for handicapped guests.

Restaurant

Breakfast is one of the finer reasons to stay at the Polonia. On the tables in restaurant 'Galicja' there is a great variety of Polish dishes either cold or hot. The restaurant can fit 80 persons, the menu is mainly Polish and Galician dishes. There is space to hold banquets of up to 100 persons in the hotel.
As the hotel is very close to the main square, you can also try one of the many cheap and tasty restaurants along the way.

Conference rooms

The hotel offers the possibility to have conferences for up to 200 persons in the hotel, There are 3 conference rooms with basic conference equipment.

Additional Services

The hotel doesn't have an own parking, the nearest is however close by - 50 meters and fairly cheap - about 35 zloties per day.

The Hotel is within the centre of town, on the corner of Swidnicki and Pulsudski Street. The 5 story building is surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants, and just across the street there is the Arcadia shopping center.
Two bus stop away from the main railway station. The airport is 5 kilometers away and can be reached by bus line 406
To the Main Square it is a 10 minute walk.
Next to the hotel you have several bus and tram stops from which you can reach all interesting corners of Wroclaw.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations can be made 3 days or earlier prior to the guest's arrival to the hotel without any charges.
Later cancellations or no-show will require charging for the first night.
