What to do in Wroclaw
- If you don't feel like sightseeing on foot take a ride in a carriage - just sit down, make yourself comfortable and admire the most beautiful sights of the second largest medieval market square in Europe
- Climb up St. Elizabeth's Church for a stunning panorama of the town
- Take a seat in one of the numerous cafe gardens located in the Main Square and listen to some street artists singing and playing
- Experience unique atmosphere and some wonderful sights of the Japanese Garden, where streams, ponds, bridges are surrounded by exotic plants growing abundantly
- Visit the Zoological Garden of Wroclaw to see the largest collection of animals in Poland (area of about 33 ha, over 4,000 species)
- Unwind in the oasis of calm - the Botanical Garden of Wroclaw set up in 1811 and boasting nowadays 7,500 plant species and over 7 ha of small plantations, quiet lanes and wild paths
- Buy a bunch of flowers in the Salt Market - a "headquarter" of florists, a place famous also for some gorgeous buildings - the Old Stock Exchange and the Oppenheim's' residence
- Spend a couple of hours in a peaceful surroundings of Cathedral Island, have a rest in a park near the river, visit the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
- Discover some original stone sculptures on the banks of Sleza river in Park Grabiszynski
- Purchase a painting from one of local painters creating and selling their works in the area of the Pilory - a great, ancient monument made of sandstone
- Take a look at the 14 marvelous bronze statues of The Anonymous Pedestrians representing the people who disappeared during the introduction of martial law in December ' 81

- Come to Wroclaw in July or August and attend one of the festivals(Wratislawia Cantans, Jazz on the Odra, Era New Horizons and Wroclaw Non-Stop to name the most popular ones) which take place in summer
What to see in Wroclaw
- Beautiful Gothic Town Hall and huge Market Square with its cobbled streets, beautifully painted buildings of different architectural styles and horse-drawn carriages
- Huge painting (120 meters x 15 meters)- "Raclawice Panorama" depicting the victory of Tadeusz Kosciuszko at the battle of Raclawice
- Great example of a monumental concrete structure - People's Hall (Hala Ludowa) listed on the UNESCO world's heritage list
- Unique baroque interior with many splendid sculptures in Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus
- Two famous houses called Johnny and Margaret (Jas and Malgosia), connected with an arch depicting a Latin sentence "Death is the gate to life"
- Some funny sculptures of Dwarfs (five statues) and if you decide you want to see some more of them then visit the Museum of Dwarfs located near the St. Elizabeth's Church
