What to do in Poznan
- Come to Poznan in June/July to attend one of the greatest cultural events taking place in the city- MALTA International Theatre Festival, full of amazing performances and truly talented performers
- Make a trip to Morasko Meteorite, a nature reserve located in the outskirts of Poznan -a place famous for seven meteor craters. The largest of them has a diameter of about 100 meters and is about 11 meters deep
- Get a bargain in the award-winning shopping mall "Stary Browar" located in Polwiejska Street which is said to be the most popular shopping artery of Poznan
- Do some sports or just relax in calm and green surroundings of Malta Lake, a perfect place for those who love to stroll, ride a bike, sunbathe or ski (skiing slope open all year round). At the Ski Sports and Recreation Centre you can hire skiing equipment and bicycles.
- Stay a little bit longer close to the lake and get on one of the small steam trains which take you to the New Poznan Zoo. About sixty per cent of its area is covered by pine and mixed forests, visitors have a choice of three possible walking routes.
- If you are a great nature lover enjoy visiting Botanical garden, a home to many exotic plants and one of the biggest green parks in the city
- Check what is on and spend an evening watching a film in the biggest megaplex cinema in Poland - Kinepolis.

What to see in Poznan
- Old Market Square -the architectural, cultural and entertainment center with numerous outdoor restaurants,
theatre performances and other great events (especially in June, during the famous St. John's Fair -Jarmark Swietojanski)
- The most popular church in Poznan- Parish Church (Ko¶ciól Farny) -a beautiful baroque building established in 1649 as the Jesuits' monastery, widely known for its wonderful pipe organs
- A XIII- century Town Hall with its delightful interiors and wonderful facades. Make sure you appear in front of the building exactly at noon to see a symbol of the city - two metal goats butting each other's heads
- Ostrów Tumski - the oldest part of the city known also as "Cathedral Island" and as legend says, the place where Poznan was founded. On the island there is a Gothic cathedral -the oldest monument of Poznan
- More than 1700 plants in Palmiarnia - one of the biggest Palm houses in Europe located in Wilson Park
- Some outstanding sculptures situated in the Old Market Square, with a Rococo Proserpine fountain and a Bamber-girl well behind the Town Hall at the top of the list
