Leba
Leba is a beautiful seaside resort set on a wide sandy clean beach.
The Baltic Sea town of Leba is located in Middle Pomerania, 110 km from Gdansk, on the right bank of the Leba River.
On the west, you will find the Slowinski National Reserve with famous rolling sand dunes called the white mountains as well as Labsko Lake and Gardno Lake.
On the east, there is Sarbsko Lake and Mierzeja Sarbska National Reserve.
Leba and surrounding area is one of the most ecologically clean regions in Poland with a healthy microclimate.
It is the perfect place to practice water sports, windsurfing and horse riding.
What to see and do in Leba
Leba:
- Beautiful long sandy beach
- Western City - Cowboy village located about 500 meters from the entrance to the Leba town.
Created thanks to the fascination of the Wild West, the village portrays the life of cowboys and Indians.
Tourists will enter the Wild West world - have a drink in a saloon, listen to Country music, watch cowboys fights, bank robbery or take part in Indian rituals.
- Ornithological Garden - where you can watch birds from all over the world set on islands and ponds
- Łabsko Lake - picturesque lake offering boat trips to Slowinski National Reserve or the open-air museum in Kluki
- Mierzeja Sarbska National Reserve
- Butterfly Museum displaying the huge private collection of butterflies and insects from all over the world
- Baroque church from 1683 with 18th century tower

- Lighthouse - there are 2 lighthouses offering splendid panoramic view of the Leba surroundings: Czołpino (25,2 m) and in Stilo (33,4 m)
- Wyrzutnia rakiet - założony w 1940 roku przez hitlerowców poligon rakietowy. Można tam obejrzeć
rakiety ziemia - ziemia, zabudowania z okresu drugiej wojny światowej, bunkier dowodzenia, lej wyrzutni, fundamenty stacji radiolokacyjnych.
- Watch tower in Rowokół - the mountain resembling the volcano, in middle ages was the center of pagan rituals. In 13th century the chapel of Saint Nicolas, the patron of sailors and fishermen was build here. Rowokol was the place where lights were fired as a sign for sailors, it was also the shelter for bandits, and maybe some treasure is buried here. Now from the top of the mountain tourists can admire the picturesque view of the Slowinski National Reserve.
What to do in Leba
- Lie down on the clean sandy beach and relax and plunge into the clean Baltic Sea waters
- Try freshly fried and smoked fish in one of many snack bars and fish stalls
- Take the boat excursion on Łabsko lake
