Katowice:
- Spodek - the biggest hall in Poland.

- Silesian Insurgents Monument - the biggest and heaviest monument in Poland.

87 miniature books of the major Polish literature, the smallest being the 'Latin alphabet' measuring 0,8 by 1,0 millimeter
- Parachute tower - the only remaining in Poland.
35 metre high steel parachute tower is located in the Tadeusz Kosciuszki Park.

- Bytom - Upper Silesian Narrow Railroad Line
Take a ride on a train, while it still exists. This rail line is the oldest still functioning track, it's been in service already 150 years. The track is 23 kilometers long.

- Tarnowskie Góry - Historical mine of silver ores
This mine is the major attraction of the Silesia region. Don't lose your orientation in the labyrinth of mine corridors and dugouts. A part of the tour is by boat - 270 metres you float safely down a mine corridor. A must.
- Jaworzno - Diving Center "Orka"

- Zabrze- Coal Mine Queen Luiza

Katowice
Normally associated with coal mines and tons of coal, its surroundings are not just chimneys and mine shafts.
This big agglomeration together with the nearby cities of Chorzow, Bytom, Tychy, Sosnowiec and Gliwice has really more to show for.
