The building's renovated façade, which is beautifully lit at night, immediately entices us to enter the oldest hotel (its roots go back to 1799) in Poland's oldest city. Thanks to carefully chosen interior décor, the Europa's age doesn't put one off. Quite contrary - it is a chance to stay in renovated and at the same time interesting and uncommon rooms. The hotel offers 50 rooms of various standards, including several magnificent apartments in Roman, English and Egyptian style.
There are several conference rooms, a restaurant, free wired (in rooms) and wireless internet and a guarded car park.
The hotel is located in the very center of the city and its thick guestbook is full of famous names.
If a wedding night is to be spent in Kalisz, then only at the Europa, in the exotic Egyptian apartment.

Rooms

The Europa offers a total of 50 rooms. All of them are air-conditioned. They are renovated, clean and a pleasure to be in. The combination of modern, functional equipment with a classically elegant décor turned out superbly.
If we're interested in lower-priced rooms, we can choose among singles, doubles and triples equipped with cable TV, telephone, internet access, as well as a bathroom with shower and a hair dryer. An upgrade of one class to a higher-standard room lets us enjoy stylish furniture, waterbed, LCD TV, refrigerator and Jacuzzi.
Pinnacle of luxury is the Egyptian Apartment, in which we can additionally enjoy a steam sauna, a DVD player and a laptop. Hand-carved furniture with art motifs from the age of the pharaohs, a canopy bed and a stylish bathroom with a steam sauna are worth their price.
Unfortunately, there are no rooms for the handicapped at the hotel.
There's also no lift at the hotel, although the hotel's staff is willing to help. There are separate rooms for non-smokers.

Restaurant

Breakfast in the form of a Swedish buffet is included in the room rate. It is a delicious, but unfortunately the only meal we can have at the hotel. There are plans to open a hotel restaurant in the future, but for the time being we can have a dinner or a supper at the Carski Pub-Restaurant located right next to the hotel. In its cozy interior we can enjoy dishes of Polish and European cuisine. Most dinners are within the 50-60 PLN price range.

Conference rooms

The Europa can easily be described as a „cozy conference hotel”. It offers 3 modern, air-conditioned conference rooms that can accommodate respectively 20, 50 and 100 persons.
The price of a conference room rental includes among other things, a transparency projector, laptop, digital camera, wireless sound system, TV, video player and wireless internet access. For an additional fee, we can also rent a beamer.
What's interesting, the hotel also offers the possibility of holding a tele-audio-video conference.

Additional Services

Guests who bring their own cars can safely leave them in a guarded monitored car park near the hotel, at Mostowa Street 2. Fee for 24 hours is about 20 PLN.
It's possible to order laundry service at the front desk. We'll receive clean clothes the same day if we order the service by 9 AM.
