The Palace in Lezno is certainly a place for those who seek peace, quiet and greenery. An 18th-century, fully renovated palace is surrounded by a 5-hectare park. Every guest who likes to relax in natural surroundings and who in case of need can get by car to the center of Gdansk, which is 12 kilometers away, will feel good here.
Beautifully preserved architecture and stylish interior décor not only make it possible to rest comfortably, but also to focus on work. Business travelers can use 6 special conference rooms.
Everyone is cordially invited to the winery and the Gold and Green restaurant dining rooms, where the chef pampers the guests with traditional Polish specialties.
It's worth it to book one of the eight spacious apartments furnished in Biedermeier style. Lower-priced alternative is a single or a double in the outbuilding.
Rooms
The Palace has 24 rooms, one third of which are luxury apartments. It's possible to live in the palace itself or in one of the singles or doubles located in the outbuilding, which was renovated in 2004.
It is worth to book a room in the attic, because there in addition to the beautifully decorated interior, we'll sense how cozy and friendly this hotel is and what unusual ambience it can create.
The Palace's interior, even though renovated and modernly equipped, has kept its historic character. It's possible to sense the spirit of Napoleonic times in there (supposedly, French troops have been stationed in the Palace long time ago).
Every room is equipped with telephone, satellite TV, internet access (fiber optic connection) and bathroom with shower. Rooms are really large and such details as lamps, pictures and delicate fabrics are perfectly honed. Elegance and the spirit of bygone eras are present everywhere in the Palace. Quietness and a relaxing ambience are unique here; the greenness of the park visible form windows also contributes to this.
The Palace is also a very friendly place to non-smokers - there is only one smoking room.
There is one room for handicapped guests.
Restaurant
The Palace Restaurant, even more painstakingly stylized and full of history than the rest of the hotel's interior, consists of two stylish dining rooms: the larger Golden Room and the smaller Green Room.
It's a pity that the restaurant is only open until 21:00. Luckily, we can continue our evening exploration of the menu at the café or the exotic winery.
The chef's specialty is traditional Polish cuisine; the menu also features quite a few interesting European dishes.
On summer days, it's worth it to have a seat at a table on the terrace and enjoy aromatic coffee or delicious cakes baked on the premises.
It's equally pleasant to spend some time at the cozy Club Salon, which is full of interesting souvenirs and decorations.
Conference rooms
The Palace has 6 conference-training rooms suitable for organizing various types of meetings in small groups, e.g. 10-12 persons, or training courses for up to 70 people. Conference rooms are equipped with professional gear (plus wireless and wired internet) and what's important, lit with natural daylight. They are also excellent for more formal occasions - the Palace's renovated interior gives special appeal to every official event.
We can finish a day of hard work with wine tasting at the Palace's winery, cooking on a grill or playing golf at a nearby course.
Additional Services
There's a monitored car park near the hotel. It is available at no extra charge.
The huge, beautiful park is a perfect place for organizing an outdoor event - the hotel offers guests its several years of experience in that area, as well as considerable ingenuity.
