Taps over bath ran onto bath and splashed everywhere. Shower head on runner was difficult to move. Curtains didn't block out light - not big enough. No tea and coffe making facilities		 My rating:

Positive aspects:
I chose this hotel for our second stay in Gdansk because of its central position and its appearance in your website. It was also a special occasion for me because I celebrated my 80th birthday in the hotel. (Last year I celebrated my birthday in Leba, also a long way from home and family, sheer coincidence, but my family suggest that I do it deliberately, which is quite untrue!) Members of staff we found very helpful.

The hotel did charge me on my credit card minibar items even when I did not used the minibar! Charging was done directly without any notice! First time I encountered this in my life! After having called the hotel they did reimburse the amount charged on my credit card.		 My rating:

Positive aspects:
The Hotel Hanza is situated in a perfect location to explore not only Gdansk but also neighboring Sopot and Gdynia. Its riverfront location is very convenient to the old section of Gdansk, which is basically a pedestrian area. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The restaurant had a very good breakfast buffet. The riverfront bar was excellent. Hotel Hanza was also a good value. My wife and I would definitely stay there again.
Negative aspects:
The double bed was too small for us. Don't know if they have "kings." The rather noisy bathroom fan came on automatically with the light switch.		 My rating:
