A modern Conference Center on premises, a short distance to the site of the International Gdansk Trade Fair and less than a kilometer to the sandy Baltic beach - thanks to that the Dal Hotel combines the advantages of a business hotel with those of a place where it's possible to enjoy proximity of the sea. Tourists who simply want to relax and explore the vicinity are able to rent bicycles at the hotel. It's a superb opportunity for active relaxation, because there is an extensive network of bicycle routes in the vicinity.
The Dal is an economical hotel, hence the rooms are not air-conditioned and there is no Room Service; however they are equipped with TV -sat and a permanent internet connection. Room equipment and decor are fully deserving of two or even three stars. The rate of 50 EUR visible on the price list is also inviting - two persons will only pay this much for their room.
All of the hotel's premises, including the car park, are monitored, so we can feel totally safe, no matter what time.
Front desk agents who speak English and German are available 24 hours a day.
Rooms
It is not a gigantic hotel, but rather a cozy, midsize one. From among its 45 rooms, we can select singles, doubles, triples and apartments.
All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, a telephone, permanent internet connection (impulse billing) and own bathroom.
The hotel hasn't had a chance to grow old, and taking the price into account, the rooms are really decent, functionally furnished, clean and well-kept. It can be said that these two stars aren't lacking anything.
One room is prepared with the needs of handicapped persons in mind. There is also 1 lift.
Practically, there's unfortunately no differentiation among smoking and non-smoking rooms here.
Restaurant
The air-conditioned restaurant is connected to a small pub. The restaurant's decor is simple, and warm colors as well as flowers placed in several spots give the interior a very pleasant character.
It is very clean everywhere and quite a bit of light as well as plenty of space (the dining room seats over 100 people) make breakfast or other meal served by the chef a pleasure.
The menu features mainly traditional Polish cuisine. There is something "for every pocketbook".
Conference rooms
The hotel is able to serve 200 business guests at one time. In 5 air-conditioned conference rooms there is the necessary equipment (flipcharts, projection screens, TV and video, Internet, wireless microphones, rostrums, projectors, sound systems, multimedia projector). The smallest of the conference rooms is excellent for meetings of small groups.
Additional Services
There is a monitored car park near the hotel, where we can leave a vehicle free of charge.
An additional plus is the possibility of renting bicycles on premises.
For those who would like to bring home from Gdansk a souvenir in the form of a new coiffure, there is a cosmetic and hairdresser's salon.
Front desk agents gladly help in obtaining tickets for all cultural events taking place in Tri-City.
Prices include breakfast and VAT.
The EUR and USD rates fluctuate according to the PLN rates of exchange.
