On one side, we have big hotels which are part of the urban hum-drum. Situated in a grey concrete environment, they are unoriginal with identical rooms. On the other side, however, there is Palace Czarny Las (Black Forest) in Silesia. Surrounded by a beautiful park bursting with towering old trees, park alleys, manicured flowers, it easily attracts guests far and wide. They come also to enjoy the incredibly designed rooms filled with antiques. Additionally to the style and elegance mentioned above, you will find an orangery, a wine bar in the cellar and a cafe that is host to various cultural events. The hotel is located in Wozniki - 60 km (37 miles) away from Katowice and 30 km (19 miles) away from Czestochowa. The building has been drawn on the maps since 1902. A hundred years later it was restored by a group of expert painters and craftsmen and revived to its former glory. It is now yours to admire as an exclusive hotel.

Rooms

The hotel is divided into two parts: the historical part and an area that was added and decorated in a modern way. Exclusive rooms provide beds for 48 people who should expect an extraordinary place with delightful experiences.
In the older part of the palace, you can see that each room is uniquely decorated using authentic antiques. More importantly, the palace is steeped in history and preserved wonderfully with furniture and paintings which are telling the history of past generations. You will admire its beautiful wooden floors, paintings, solid candlesticks and old-fashioned clocks. There are 14 old-fashioned rooms like this, and the most interesting ones are those equipped with a whirlpool bathtub and lavishly decorated using the 'empire' style with four-poster beds. The adjoining bathrooms are handsomely decorated to fit in with the rest of the palace's decor. Amenities include: satellite TV, radio, a phone, a safe and a mini bar.
You will feel completely indulged in a suite that is located in a specially added building that guarantees privacy and intimacy. It consists of a drawing room with a fire-place, two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a whirpool bath, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Spacious and charming you are in for a real treat with this most comfortable accommodation.

If perhaps you prefer a more modern look, or if the 'old-fashioned' rooms have already been booked, please feel free to choose from the rooms that were added during the 2000 renovation.

If it was not for the gorgeous park, you would not have to leave the room at all. With delicious food and excellent room service you would never think twice about having to starve. There are two lifts in the palace, as well as 2 rooms specially prepared for the handicapped.

Restaurant

The restaurant and the bar are both located in the added part of the buildings. They both have been tastefully and superbly intergrated to blend in with the rest of the palace and its stylish and antique furnished rooms. The Palace cellar should not be avoided as it has a great wine bar and a pool table.
The head chef specializes in old Polish cuisine as you would certainly expect from such a place. However, if you prefer, equally delicious international cuisine is at your request.
While you are there you will certainly relax on the terraces which are suspended above the ponds and offer a spectacular view.

Conference rooms

The conference rooms in the palace are very much different from the ones you know from the cities. The place had special measures that painstakingly allowed the preservation of the spirit during renovation. Therefore, the rooms will enchant you with the special atmosphere created by the antiques and beautiful paintings. A romantic room dominated by an old-fashioned fireplace, the library or the orangery (hothouse) constitute an excellent place for a business meeting in a narrow circle. If your party is bigger, then the conference room equipped with the most modern audiovisual devices will be more appropriate (its capacity is around 50 people).

Additional Services

The extensive green park surrounding the Palace gives great opportunities for outdoor events and active leisure: quad rental (120 PLN/hour), paintball tournaments or sleigh rides in winter. There is a possibility of renting a bike or if you prefer try your hand as Robin Hood and learn to shoot with a bow and arrow.
Your car will be safe in the parking lot outside the hotel. It is guarded and no additional charges apply.
